It's a start...?

I got my first vaccination this afternoon at York's Mass Vaccination site. The invitation to book came in the post yesterday, I applied online, and got a slot for this afternoon immediately — not that the timing mattered because you're dealt with as soon as you arrive. It took just five minutes, thoughin all the trip took an hour and a half  because I went by bus and had to walk half a mile or so for a choice of buses.

But hooray! I hope it's a start towards a slightly less stressful existence. My second jab is booked for May Day.
